Places to Ski in New Zealand
New Zealand is a hotspot for skiers everywhere, and with good reason. Think of it in this way - are you looking for an audacious skiing vacation on clean mountains with picturesque views? Yes? Then New Zealand is where you ought to go. It offers over thirty-two diverse ski regions, with a plethora of world class ski resorts. You will discover effortless trails for novices and more intense ones for the experts. In addition to that, you might even discover snowboarding and heli-skiing.
There are several fantastic skiing trips of New Zealand possible in both its islands - the North and the South. Every one of them guarantees exquisite vistas and general tourist-friendliness.
Mount Ruapehu
An active volcano at the heart of Tongariro National Park, Mount Ruapehu is situated in North Island. This is undoubtedly New Zealand's greatest ski area. You can find trails with volcanic terrain that can rouse and stimulate even the best skiers. With bulges, juts, slides, sudden drops, and spacious trails, you get the best of every world. Happy Valley is favoured by beginners, with gradual inclines and a prime ski coaching system. The Turoa section has a rather helpful facility for the neophytes too. Curiously enough, it also has what is probably the most protracted vertical run in the land of the Kiwis.
Queenstown
Coronet is a popular spot for the locals, and for those in New Zealand small group trips. With manifold landscapes and the chance to go night skiing after dusk, there's precious little to dislike about this place. There's an area set aside for the beginners, along with a large heated deck to remove the shudders of wintertime. A spot called The Remarkables is well liked by skiers biased towards free styling and snowboarding.
Wanaka Ski Areas
Wanaka ski resort is situated in Mt. Aspiring Park, northwards of Queenstown. It has a lot of ski trails, a couple of which are Cardrona and Snow Farm. Wanaka delivers a top notch skiing experience for the entire gamut of skiers. It also happens to be one of the most prominent ski trails in New Zealand. Wanaka is your first stop on most New Zealand small group tours if you look forward to an affable, chummy ambience and relaxed skiing. Treble Cone has outstanding views and the longest vertical run in the Southern Alps. It is fantastic terrain for skilful skiers, perhaps the best in New Zealand.
New Zealand is a country that is both kind and challenging to a wide range of skiers. With perhaps the best skiing trails in the Southern hemisphere, it is bound to leave an indelible impression in the mind if every skier.

The second one looks good. There were also several options with the top site although some get pricey.
Have a great holiday!
