Wh Do People Teach/Make Pets Do Tricks?
Parrots weren't born water skiing! Neither were squirrels! Ok I know there are dogs who are excellent at catching frisbees and I will admit I slip up and watch the animal programs where dogs are put through their paces and jump, run, slide and do whatever they do! The point is why won't people let dogs be dogs? It's just me on my little soap box so please don't take it personal. Tell me how you feel. Thanks!

Tricks are to entertain people. However, dogs love to have a purpose. Most dogs were bred for a specific purpose, but a lot of us just have them as pets. Agility is an excellent way for dogs to learn and expel energy but it is carried too far when they make dogs or other animals water ski, snow board, etc.
